It’s 3D printed from recycled materials on-demand to minimise its impact on the planet and is tailored to avoid waste

The Sherwood Macarthur, a pub-style venue in Campbelltown, situated next to the Sports Stadium, it offers an blending allure of alfresco dining with the excitement of live sports. We were commissioned by Western Suburbs Leagues Club to update the electrical infrastructure and provide lighting taht enhances the visitor experience.  

In Liverpool Catholic Club’s main function centre our team updated the existing function centre primary focus was on enhancing the ambiance through sophisticated lighting solutions, upgraded power and communications systems.

As Vivid 2023 is coming to an end, let's look into our permanent installations that will continuously illuminate Sydney's skyline for the whole year.

Having signed a short-term lease in Feb 20 we were in the happy position on lease expiry of having lots of accomodation options. In a post-COVID / WFH business environment the focus on place and space has changed to health and .

Easy access to transport, great facilities (pools & gyms, saunas, basketball courts) from a simply accessed space with separate air conditioning, natural ventilation and daylight made the move decision an easy one.

We are pleased to confirm the renewal of our Master Security Licence in NSW. Haron Robson Australia Pty Ltd ACN 002 781 580 holds Master Security Licence 000105459.  In NSW it is an offence to undertake unauthorised security activities without being licensed.

After 6 years in the Quay, we've moved near the QVB.

During Vivid Sydney 2019, look to the skyline to experience technology upgrades made to the spire lighting of 1 O'Connel Street (Circular Quay).

As the price of battery storage decreases, the viability of building large scale battery storage increases. On October 23 the Australian Renewable Energy Agency officially commissioned a 30 MW battery storage system in Victoria.

Ionity a joint venture of BMW, Daimler, Ford and Volkswagen is planning to open 100 ultra-fast electric vehicle charging station this year in Europe with plans for a European network of 400 by 2020. This new network is believe by many to be the most inmportant electric vehicle charging infrastructure effort since Tesla's supercharger network. Each charging point will have a capacity of 350KW i.e. a half hour charge will give a Tesla driver about 270 Km in extra driving range.

Our Electrical Engineers have been busy reading up on the new wiring standard AS /NZS 3000 – 2018 changes that were published on 26 June 2018. There are a few changes from the old 2007 standard. How exciting!. The activated light facade at #AMGSydney wins Australian Ðesign Award at 60th Anniversary event held last night at Sydney Opera House.

Woolooware Bay is set to transform into a vibrant destination like no other. A future hub of life, activity and entertainment and one of the largest waterfront transformations currently underway in Sydney. Woolooware Bay Town Centre is a master planned development including approximately 625 residential apartments and a 17,800sqm retail centre with an anticipated end project value of $752 Million which will form a vibrant new Town Centre for the Sutherland Shire.

The Art House officially opened in May 2016 in Wyong, the heart of the Central Coast, and has the aim of providing a professional performing arts’ space for the community, as well as bringing national and international touring productions to the Central Coast. The Art House is a 500-seat theatre and 130 retractable seat studio with exhibition foyer, meeting room, shop and bar.

The development of the Aquatic Centre marked the Centenary of Pymble Ladies College in Sydney incorporating Olympic swimming and diving pool, water polo facility, fitness centre and learn to swim pool. The centre is designed to international Olympic standards with state of the art technology, video and lighting systems.

Congratulations to MPA on winning the MBA award for the New Foyer and Porte Cochere at Mounties at Mt Pritchard. The winning award was in the category of Construction between $5M-$10M and was one of six won by MPA on the night.

Haron Robson were part of the consultant team which delivered the refurbishment and repositioning of “Mounties” for The Mounties Group in 2016. The club boasts the largest membership of any club in the state.

Completed in 2015, Haron Robson lightmatters were commissioned by Architect, Saunders Global, on the basis of innovation and uniqueness: to attain “A feeling of brightness” rather than conventional illuminance as key to achieving a good customer experience, revisiting the store, increasing the products purchases and reducing overheads by increased energy effectiveness.

The lighting design approach to the Garrison Church was something of a contradiction. It would have been easier to add lighting from the existing points and minimise the impact on appearance, as well as the costs or complications of installing new lighting points.  It was decided that the compromises inherent in using the existing points meant any new lighting solution could risk appearing as an unsympathetic add-on to this heritage space.

The recent 2016 MBA Awards saw Paynter Dixon win the award for the $15M-$20M category in Construction for the extension of the Travelodge at Bankstown Sports Club. The masterplan included extending the existing four-storey hotel over the club to eight-storeys. The building was originally built in the 1990’s with structural components of the building designed for the capacity of the additional floors.

With winter just around the corner, there’s only one thing on our minds here at Haron Robson HQ: when will Vivid Sydney and Sparc Design kick off for 2014?!?

It’s that time of year again, and excitement is building here at Haron Robson HQ for this winter’s VIVID Sydney festival. In its fifth year and with the program almost tripling in size, VIVID 2013 is set to be the biggest and best yet!

‘Waterfront transformation’…’Lifestyle destination’…’Emphasis on sport, health & fitness’… Not the phrases one would usually associate with the redevelopment of a leagues club. Yet those are exactly the terms used to describe the changes afoot in The Shire, with the redevelopment of the Cronulla Sutherland Leagues Club’s land holdings set to raise the bar for the industry.

Forming the first stage of a large waterside development on the western shore of Homebush Bay, the Quarterdeck buildings at Wentworth Point Marina have recently been launched to much enthusiasm from those keen to live a ‘Riviera lifestyle’ in Sydney.

Champagne and cocktails were par for the course as Christian Dior Couture, part of the behemoth luxury group LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, recently celebrated the opening of the first Dior flagship store in Australia, with over 250 VIP guests and the fashion media in full force.

Everyone seems to be whispering about Energy Savings Certificates (ESC’s), but few seem to understand the system. Fewer still are taking advantage of the scheme’s benefits. The Hilton Hotel in Sydney is an exception, and their pro-active approach to energy efficiency and ESC-creation has enabled them to cut energy use and upgrade their lighting system, for virtually no capital outlay.

The well-trodden footpaths of Pitt Street Mall will this month be quite a lot brighter for the steady stream of commuters and Christmas shoppers, after the Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore, switched on the new catenary lighting system on Thursday, 3rd December.

With the lights twinkling, the tinsel sparkling and the presents overflowing the confines of the Christmas tree 'zone' (we're engineers and designers, we like to create zones!), it's definitely feeling Christmassy here at Haron Robson HQ.

At the biggest event of the year for the lighting industry, Haron Robson's lighting design team walked away with another IES Luminaire Design Award for their Vivid Festival light art sculpture, for the second year running.

In mid – 2011, Haron Robson was engaged to upgrade the power supply to a building and that enquiry led to us to lighting the refurbishment of the landmark Sydney restaurant Pruniers, which now known as Chiswick Restaurant and operated by Matt Moran and Peter Sullivan.
